No one is a fan of oral surgery, but I am a fan of Dr. Johnson and his team. Dr. Johnson explained my procedure in plain English and made sure I was not only informed but comfortable. He possessed excellent bedside manner and even contacted my dentist after my follow-up appointments with him to ensured I got the continued dental care I needed. ISSUE: Needing removal of several teeth, including two wisdom teeth. *TERRIFIED of DENTISTS* ABSOLUTELY the BEST! I had been searching for an oral Surgeon for months before I found Dr. Johnson's office. I was still apprehensive at first, but his staff was 'different', so genuine, and friendly. There was no 'high pressure sales pitch' to get me on a third party payment plan. The other offices pushed me VERY hard to sign up for a payment plan (i.e. Cherry, CareCredit, etc.) At this office, I didn't need anything like that, I was able to pay a small (and I mean 'SMALL' copay compared to $2000+ at the other offices). And the doctor....he is amazing! You ever met someone that you could sense, immediately, has your best interest in mind? That's Dr. Johnson! He was so caring, attentive, and understanding of my fear that before my procedure began, I almost didn't need 'laughing gas'....almost. He told me everything he was doing before he did it...and when I woke up...it was done. My recovery was great too! Hardly any pain. Dr. Johnson and his staff have no idea how much they've changed my life... Even my fear of the dentist has changed some! Thank you Dr. Johnson, and the incredible staff at Genesis Oral Surgery and Implantology.
